Academic Group Coaching

Group coaching sessions begin on Monday, February 10, and will end the week before finals.

Group Coaching: What to expect

In group coaching sessions, a learning specialist will present a 5 minute mini-lesson on an academic resource topic.

Students will have the opportunity to discuss academic concerns as well as have a space to work collaboratively and independently.

"I attended the biology study groups that set up for success in my biology class that I was studying in. Having other people in the same position as me trying to learn and understand biology as well and pass the exams was very eye opening and really made me feel not as alone. This study group helped me in many ways. It helped me connect with my peers and collaborate and study using new strategies... I gained a lot more knowledge talking about what I did not understand about the material we were studying and having other people help me understand or we would all help each other understand if none of us knew at the time.
